If you have ever been to a DJ or photo booth conference, you know the brotherhood and sisterhood that you form when you meet people who do what we do for a living. Sitting down next to a random colleague has turned into lifelong friendships. It is part of the magic of attending a live conference as opposed to learning and networking via social media groups and YouTube videos. The education always helps you get better, the showroom floor allows you to see it, feel it, hear it and touch it. The parties are also very fun!
The year of 2020 has been a challenge to say the least for our industry. Not only have we had to deal with our clients needing to reschedule or sadly cancel but we have not been able to attend any conferences with other colleagues to learn and recharge our batteries since the Photo Booth Expo in February 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
We are very excited to let you know that in spite of having to postpone their annual conference in July, the Marquee Show for DJs and photo booth operators will be hosting their show June 22-24, 2021 in Deerfield, Illinois just a few minutes north of Chicago.
Sean “Big Daddy” McKee and Jordan Marshall will serve as hosts and DJ Speed will once again be a house DJ. Announced speakers include Michael Walter of Elite Entertainment and the PHDJ Podcast, Anthony Salas Jr. of California’s Epic Entertainment, Alexa Dena of Carnival Cruise Lines, the voice of NBC Sports Harry Legg, Chicago based stand up comedy coach Tyler Ross, Scott Faver aka The Game Master, Indiana’s Eric Jaeger, the Pittsburg Steeler’s stadium DJ and programming expert Digital Dave Landers, too name but a few. There will be a classic Chicago Deep Dish Pizza dinner available to the first 80 people who buy their tickets as well as a series of parties to be announced. The showroom floor features four demo rooms and a 10,000 square foot showroom. Exhibit Only passes are complimentary. Education passes and full show passes are also available.
